The history of wine production in Lebanon goes back at least 4000 years and probably had an influence on wine production in Greece and, eventually, Italy.

Most people in this country associate Lebanon with Chateau Musar – and rightly so – but there are a number of other, brilliant wines. In fact the Hochar family (who produce Chateau Musar) also produce another couple of interesting reds -Hochar Pere & Fils and Musar Jeune – all of which can normally be found at Enoteca.
